Sinks and Basins
The most common kitchen basin is a "Drop-In Double Basin Sink". These basins generally provide two rectangular sinks and a drainage board. A rectangular sink allows your baking pans to be soaked and cleaned, and a drainage board stops water running across your bench tops. The sink is also one-piece and completely waterproof, ensuring water does not seep under the edges and cause mold.
Round sinks are very modern and look great, but often large pans won't fit for wash-up time.
Under-counter mount sinks are also very popular, but be careful they are big enough for all your pans, and if they don't provide a drainage board, water and soap may run over your bench top. Ask Marble Art about ideas to solve this type of problem.
Marble Art can provide advice on types of sinks and basins and how they work with different types of stone counter tops.
